Insecticide is one of the most common uses of Diatomite, as it is effective, yet does not rely on any chemicals. DE is commonly used to control bed bugs, house dust mites, cockroahes, ants and flea infestations whereby the abrasive and absorbent properties combine to dehydrates and kill such insects. Insects cannot develop a resistance to this natural process.
